Russell A. Fields, Jr., 64, of Sauk Village, died Saturday morning, Oct. 15, 1994, at St. James Hospital Medical Center, following a short illness.

He was married to the former Doris McCracken, a Cisne girl and daughter of the Ralph McCrackens, rural Cisne. Mr. Fields was a trust officer with Continental Bank Company. The Fields had lived in Sauk Village for many years.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Steger Memorial Chapel in Steger, Ill., with Rev. Richard Sova officiating.  Burial will be in Skyline Memorial Park in Monee. Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the steger Memorial Chapel.

He was born at Blue Island, Ill., Sept. 14, 1930. Mr. Fields was a member of the Leisure Time Seniors of Sauk Village.

Surviving are his wife, Doris; a daughter, Kimberly Fields, of Sauk Village; a son, Russell Fields III, of Sauk Village; two grandchildren; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McCracken of rural Cisne.
