Miss Kathryn O. Upton, 76, of Fairfield, died at 8 p.m. Thursday. Oct. 6, 1994, at Way-Fair Restorium.  She was a retired Airtex worker.  Miss Upton had resided at Way-Fair for the past six years.

Funeral rites were conducted Saturday afternoon from Nale's Funeral Home, with Bro. Carroll Kakac officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery. There was a visitation from noon to the funeral hour at Nale's Saturday.

She was born in Fairfield Apr. 25, 1918.  Her mother was Edna Upton and her stepfather was Ledger May.  Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and one sister.

Miss Upton, who was never married, was a member of the Ellen Moore United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a sister, Myrtle Weaver, of Cisne; and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Esther Stanley here is an aunt.
