A Cisne resident, Mrs. Ora VanFossan, 87, died at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 1985, at her home of infirmities of age.  Mrs. VanFossan was the sister of Mrs.  Alma Minton, of Cisne.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with Rev. Nolan Eubank and Rev. Dean Brown officiating.  Burial will be in Brown cemetery near Mt. Erie.  Visitation may be made from 6-8 p.m. Monday (tonight) at the funeral home.

Mrs. VanFossan was born in Alexander County, Ill., May 8, 1898, the daughter of George and Susie Vick Braddy.  She was married to James Howard VanFossan at Elgin June 15, 1923. Mr. VanFossan died Dec. 13, 1979.

Mrs.  VanFossan was a housewife. She belonged to the Cisne United Methodist Church and Cisne Womens Club.

She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Alma Minton, of Cisne; and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna Braddy, of Florida; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
