Joe Hudspeth, brother-in-law of Mrs. Vern (Mildred) Courtright of rural Fairfield, died at his home in Clearwater Florida, August 13.

Mr. Hudspeth was a native of Lincoln.  He is survived by his wife, the former Fern Lowe, daughter of the late John and Anna Lowe who lived north of Wayne City. Also surviving are a daughter in Houston, Texas and two grandchildren.

In the early 1930's, Mr. and Mrs. Hudspeth were both employed in Fairfield in the office at Sexton's.  Later they made their home in Chicago for many years
moving to Florida four years ago after retirement.
