A well-known former Barnhill resident, Jesse Fowler, 79, of Anderson, Ind., died at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 1985 at Community Hospital in Anderson.  Mr. Fowler was a retired computer salesman and bank employee. He is survived by several sisters in Wayne county.

Funeral services are planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Copher & Fesler Funeral Home, Elwood, Ind. with burial in that area.  Friends and family may call between 2-9 p.m. Tuesday for visitation at the funeral home.

Mr. Fowler was born July 4, 1906 at Barnhill the son of the late Moses and Lou Wells Fowler. He married Lavonne Etchinson, of Elwood, Ind.

Survivors include his wife, Lavonne Fowler, of Anderson, Ind.; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Karla) Spencer, of Mackinac Island, Mich., a son, Keith Fowler, of Moores Hill, Ind.; five sisters, Mrs. Alline Thomason, of Barnhill; Mrs. Oril (Janette) Green, of Fairfield; Mrs. Reba Thomason, of Sims; Mrs. Alta Crabtree, of Albion; Mrs. Freda Hooper, of Mowequa; four grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews
