Millard I. "Bill" Grinestaff, 74, of Olney, a former Wayne County resident, died at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, 1985 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.   He was the son of Mrs. Charlotte Farmer, of Mt. Erie.

 Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Summers Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Bill Cummins officiating. Burial followed in Haven Hill Cemetery.

 Mr. Grinestaff was born Mar. 2, 1911 in Wayne County, the son of Orla and Charlotte Reed Grinestaff.   He was caretaker of the Lawrenceville Elks, Olney Elks, and Petroleum Club, of Olney.    Mr. Grinestaff was a member of the Elks, Eagles and Petroleum Club, and a former Shrine member.

Surviving are a son, Don Grinestaff, of Olney; his mother, Mrs. Charlotte Farmer, of Mt. Erie, one half-brother, Roy Dale McCormick, of Albion; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and one sister.
