Bernard Coil, 55, of Anna, died at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 1985, at Anna State Hospital.

Mr. Coil was the son of the late Kelly and Lucille Tyler Coil, of Wayne county.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home,  Wayne City, with Rev. Earl Norris officiating.  Interment Will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Mt. Vernon.   Visitation for Mr. Coil is planned from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the funeral hour.

Mr. Coil was born July 5, 1930 in Marion County, Ill.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Austin; and a niece, Pam Jones both of Granite City
