Mrs. Mabel Thomas, 61, of Sandwich, the daughter of Mrs. Nova Gregory, of
Sims, died Monday, July 29, 1985 at Sandwich Hospital.

She was the sister of Mrs. Lois Dickey of Sims, Noel Gregory, of Fairfield, and Marvin Gregory, of Cisne.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Burkhart Funeral Home at Sandwich with the burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be conducted from 6-9 p.m. Thursday (tonight) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thomas was born at Bluford Mar. 3, 1924, the daughter of Robert and
Nova Bozarth Gregory. She was married to Burrel Thomas Oct. 28, 1940.

Survivors include her husband, Burrel Thomas, of Sandwich; her mother, Mrs. Nova Gregory, of Sims; three sons Jerry Thomas, of Whitehall, Mich.; Jack Thomas, of Boise, Idaho; and Steve Thomas, of Sandwich; two daughters Mrs. John (Peggy) Walker, of Sheridan and Mrs. Ronald (Nancy Rodoers, of Serena; three brothers, Noel Gregory, of Fairfield; Marvin Gregory, of Cisne; and Eddy Gregory, of Goose Creek, S. Ca.; five sisters,  Mrs. Donald (Louella) Shaw, of Rochelle; Isabel Henson, of Willow Springs; Mrs. Ronald (Susie) Johnson of St. Louis, Mo; Mrs. Harold (Lois) Dickey, of Sims; and Mrs. Doris Henson of Mahomet; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and one daughter.
