Funeral services for Orville Allison, 74, of rural Clay City, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hosselton Funeral Home, Cisne, with Rev. Don Tabor and Bro. Barry Sikes officiating.    Interment was in Needmore Cemetery at Orchardville.    Mr. Allison died at 12:30 a.m. Monday July 29, 1985, at his home following a
long term illness

 Mr. Allison was born in Wayne county Sept. 11, 1910, the son of Lewis and Grace Henson Allison.   He was married to the former Faye Thompson in Wayne County, Sept. 28, 1935.   Mr. Allison was a retired farmer and construction worker.   He was a member of the Clay City Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Allison, of Clay City; one daughter, Mrs. Lena Wisdom of St. Louis, Mo.; four sons, Robert Allison, of Johnsonville; Jesse Allison, of Fairfield; Harold Allison, of Evansville, Ind.; and Larry Allison, of Clay City; one brother, George Allison, of Salem; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, one son, and one sister and his parents.
