Glen Taylor, 74, of Wayne City, died at his home there at 12:05 a.m. Friday Aug. 3, 1984, from a heart attack.  Mr. Taylor had been in fairly good health.  He was a retired employee of Lincoln Engineering in St. Louis and had resided in Wayne City since 1975.

 Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Richardson Chapel, with Rev. Mark Potter officiating.  Interment was in Olive Branch cemetery.

He was born in Wayne County July 26, 1910, the son of Oscar and Clara Rash Taylor.  On Sept. 22, 1934, he was married to Lorene Garrison.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, Gary Taylor, of Millington, Tenn; and Monte Taylor, of Wayne City; one daughter, Sharon Flushel, of St Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren; one brother Hazel Taylor, of Wayne City; and two sisters, Nellie Schafer, of Rochelle; and Emeline Burger, also of Rochelle.
