Miss Mayme Bobbett, 93, Detroit, Mich., formerly of Wayne county, died at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 1984, at her residence.  Miss Bobbett was the sister of Mrs. Glenna Creighton, and sister-in-law of Mrs. Katie Bobbett, both of Fairfield.  She was recently in ill health. Death was due to infirmities of age, the family told the Press.  Miss Bobbett lived in Detroit since she was 17.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Johnson Funeral Home.

Miss Bobbett was born in Wayne county, May 6, 1891, the daughter of Tom and Alice (Kelly) Bobbett.  She was never married.  She formerly worked for 25 years with Detroit Triple A Association until her retirement 30 years ago.  Miss Bobbett was a member of the Christian church.

She is survived by her sister, Mrs Glenna Creighton, of Fairfield; and one
sister-in-law, Mrs. Katie Bobbett, of Fairfield.

Preceding her in death were two brothers and a sister.
