Charles S. Plumb, 77, of Norfolk, Va. the brother-in-law of George Wilson, of Fairfield, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 1984, of a heart attack.  Mr. Plumb, a retired airlines employee, never lived in Wayne County, but visited here several times.  He was last in Fairfield to help celebrate his
brother-in-law's birthday last year.

Memorial funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday (today) at Norfolk Presbyterian Church in that city.  Mr. Plumb's body was cremated and the ashes will be returned to Canada for interment.

Mr. Plumb was a native of Canada.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Wilson Plumb, of Norfolk, Va.; a brother-in-law, George Wilson, of Fairfield, and one sister-in-law, Helen M. Wilson, of Norfolk, Va.
