A baby daughter, Christine Johnson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Johnson late Saturday night in the Mt. Vernon hospital, was dead at birth. This was their first child.

Short graveside services were held in a Wayne City cemetery on Sunday afternoon by Rev. C.R. Wise, pastor of the Ellen Moore Methodist church, here.

Mrs. Johnson is the former Miss Dorothy Musgrave, daughter of Charles Musgrave.
