A. C. Canuteson, of Houston, Tex., the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Grimes, of Fairfield, died Tuesday night at home in Houston.

Mr. Canuteson is the husband of the former Rosemary Grimes. He had suffered a stroke this past July and his health had continued to decline, the family said.

Mr. Canuteson was a construction draftsman. He never lived in Wayne County.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Foley Funeral Home in Houston, Tex.
