Mrs. Maxine Lane,74 of Mt. Vernon died at 11 a.m. Monday, November 19 1990, at Good Samaritan Hospital following a short illness.

She is a former Wayne City resident and housewife. Her husband, Ernest Lane died July 21, 1981.

Funeral services were conducted from the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City

Wednesday morning, with Rev. Richard McCormick officiating. Internment was in the Thomason Cemetery. Visitations was held at the funeral home Tuesday evening.

She was born in Wayne county June 6, 1916, the daughter of Evers and Mabel Thomason Draper.  Mrs. Lane was a member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church.

Surviving are a number of cousins.
