The Press has received word of the death of Homer Illyes, 86, formerly of the Enterprise area, at the Humston Haven Nursing Home, at Pontiac, on Friday, Dec. 31, 1982.

Mr. Illyes was married to the late Bessie Fildes and both were raised in the Enterprise area.  He moved near Pontiac in 1925 and engaged in farming.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home at Pontiac.  Burial will be in the Chenoa Cemetery in that city.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph Illyes, of Pontiac; Orel Illyes, of Gridley, a sister, Laura, of Florida; and six grandchildren.
