Ferrol Maddox, 68 of Fairfield, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007 at 3:10 p.m. in Rochester, Minn.

She was a retired teacher.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Fairfield First Baptist Church with Bro. Calvin Reynolds and Bro. Bennie Tomberlin officiating. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Graveside service and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Olive Branch Cemetery in Annapolis.

Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ferrol was born in Jasper County, on Feb. 16, 1939 the daughter of Edward Wayne and Gladvs Kirkhorn French. She was married to Wayne Maddox, who survives.

She was a member of Fairfield First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of Fairfield; a daughter, Alesha (Mark) Kramm, Peachtree, Ga.; a son, Doug (Karen) Maddox of West York; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital.
