Bobby Dale Taylor, 46, Fairfield, died Saturday morning, Sept. 29, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Ind.

He was born Sept. 1, 1961 at Livingston, Tenn., the son of Linnie Taylor. Mr. Taylor had worked as a laborer his entire life. He had also worked in underground utilities in Tennessee.

He is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy R. and Karla Taylor of Carmi, Jerry and Kay Taylor of Wewoka, Okla., and Dwight and special friend, Paul Johnson, of Evansville, Ind.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty and Tim Davis of Carrollton, Ky. and Anna L. Taylor of Fairfield; his fiancé, Lori Powell of Rinard; and a special friend and family, Tina Vaughan and the Vaughan family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linnie; and two sisters, Joy Mick and Barbara Taylor.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Stendeback Family Funeral Home/Kittinger-Fair in Carmi, the Rev. Bob Pollard officiating. Burial was in Kuykendall Cemetery near Carmi. On-line condolences may be left at Kittinger-fairfuneralhome.com.
