Charles Varner, 77, of Wynoose, passed away this morning at the Olney Sanitarium.  He was born in Wayne county on Feb. 6, 1872, and had spent his entire life in that neighborhood. He is survived by his wife, Lousina, and the following children: Glenn Varner of Wayne, Mich. Mrs. Beatrice Stanford of Milwaukee, Wis., Charles B. Varner, Leo Varner and Donald Varner all of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, and one half-brother, Alva Varer (Varner) of Olney.

Funeral services will be held at the Christian church in Wynoose on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. James Wylie in charge.  Interment will be at the Johnson cemetery.

Friends may call at the Schaub Funeral Home until Thursday morning, when the body will be removed to the family home.
