Rollie O. Smith, 82 of Cisne, passed away at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, Apr. 8, 2006 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Mr. Smith had been in declining health for several years.

He was a farmer and had worked at Valley Steel in Flora.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with Bro. Ernie Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Cisne Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 ¬ 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.

Mr. Smith was born May 21, 1923 at Cisne, to Fred Monroe and Gracie A. Bunnell Smith. He married Ruth States on Feb. 25, 1945 at Cisne.

He was a" member and deacon of Blue Point Free Will Baptist Church in Cisne and a member of the Mt. Erie Ruritan Club. He worked for Bob Robinson Farms near Mt. Erie and Enterprise and later worked for Glover Farms at Mt. Erie. After retirement he continued occasional farming projects for Mugrage Farms at Cisne.

Survivors include his wife of Cisne; one daughter, Pamela (Rev. Greg) Courtright of Marion; two grandchildren; a twin brother, Robert Smith of Rinard; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were one son, four brothers, one foster sister and his parents.

Memorials may be made to Blue Point Free Will Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the uneral home.
