Forrest F. "Stuffy" Moore, 83, a resident of Way-Fair and a former Belle Rive
resident, died at 4:20 a.m. Tuesday at Way-Fair.

 Mr. Moore was the assistant postmaster at Belle Rive for 32 years. He was a brother of Mrs. Lawrence Smysor.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday (today) at Myers-Baril Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with Bro. Don Dorris officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Vernon.

He was born in Wayne City Apr. 18, 1898, the son of Frank and Cora (Carnes) Moore.   He was a member of the Christian Church of Belle Rive and the Belle Rive Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include one brother, Noel Moore, of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Bernice) Smysor, of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews.
