Dale McLaren's Brother Dies

Revie McLaren, 69, of rural Benton, died at 6:50 Wednesday morning at the Franklin County Hospital, Benton. Mr. McLaren has been suffering from emphysema for several years. He retired from employment with the Ashland Oil Company.

Revie McLaren is the brother of Executive Director Dale McLaren of the
Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission.

Mr. McLaren is lying in state at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home, Benton. Visitation will be held between 6:00 and 9:00, Thursday (tonight).  His funeral will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday. He will be buried at the Masonic and Odd Fellows cemetery south of Benton.

Mr. McLaren is survived by his wife, Freda, sons, Ronald of West Frankfort, and James E., of Benton; one grandson and a sister, Thelma Richardson, Benton, in addition to his brother.

He had two brothers who preceded him in death.
