Edna E. Edmonds 75, of Effingham and formerly of Dale, died at 11:25 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 13, 2007 in Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 24, 1931 in Mill Shoals, the daughter of Charles F. and Sarah E. (Witter) Bond, and was married to George Edmonds. She was a homemaker and a Protestant.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Debra and Bruce Owen of Effingham, and Donna Edmonds of Champaign; a sister, opal Morris of Fairfield; four grandchildren, Jason Owen, Jacquelyn Ordner, Kevin Kyburz and David Reyling; and four great-grandchildren, Lane Ordner, Connor Reyling, Lauren Kyburz and Avery Kyburz. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ralph, Otha and Bert Bond; and a sister, Bertha Donelson.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro, the Rev. Roger Marshall officiating, with burial in Digby Hill Cemetery near Dale. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
