Son of William and Emily Marinda (McGrew) Burroughs and Grandson of Edward and Minerva (Hoyt) Burroughs of Wayne Co. IL.

Death claimed A. E. Burroughs of this city a St. Joseph Hospital last evening, after a brief illness.  Burroughs conducted a soft drink stand in this city, and had resided here for some years.  He is survived by a widow, Josephine Burroughs and four children, Mrs. Nova Nichols, Neva, Fred and Kenneth Burroughs.

Burroughs was a native of Illinois, and was 46 years of age.

Funeral services will be held from the Sanders parlors Wednesday an 3 p.m. with Rev. William Duncan Ogg officiating. Interment will be in Ocean View cemetery.

BURROUGHS-- In Eureka, Calif. on May 3rd, 1926: Alfred Edward Burroughs; Beloved husband of Josephine Burroughs and loved father of Mrs. Nova Nichols, Neva, Fred and Kenneth Burroughs all of this city, an native of Illinois, aged 46 years, 1 month and 21 days.

Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, May 5th, 1925 at 3 o'clock p.m. from Sanders Funeral Parlors, Eureka, Calif. Rev. W. D. Ogg, officiating. Interment at Ocean View Cemetery.
