The Press has received word of the death of Mrs. Mary Teter, 88, the mother of Roy Teter, of Fairfield.    Mrs. Teter died Monday, Nov. 15, 1982, at the Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi.   She and her husband, the late Roy Teter, Sr., never lived in Wayne county.   Mrs. Teter was an active member of the First Christian Church of Oklahoma City, Okla. and served as a lifetime Deaconess.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, and the Mount Moriah Funeral Home, Kansas City, Mo.   Graveside services will be conducted at the Mount Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City on Friday.   The family requests that donations be made to the Wabash Christian Retirement Center, of Carmi, in lieu of flowers as a memorial.

Survivors include one son, Roy Teter, of Fairfield; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Louise Rees, of Kingwood, Tex.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
