Mrs. Maude Fisher, 90, an Albion resident, formerly of Wayne county, died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 1982, at the Rest Haven Nursing Home, Albion. She is the sister of Isaac Bell, of Barnhill and the step-mother of Mrs. Emily Smerdon, of Ellery. Mrs. Fisher had been a resident of the nursing home since August.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday (today) at Nales Funeral Home, of Albion, with Bro. Roger Murfin officiating. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery in that city.
She was born Dec. 27, 1891 in Lawrence county, the daughter of Ned and Gabillia (Brown) Bell. Mrs. Fisher was married to Rude Fisher Feb. 19, 1920 and he preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1957.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Apple, of Albion, Mrs. Maymie West, of Miami, Fla.; Mrs. Martha Krause, of Sharon Grove, Ky.; one brother, Isaac Bell, of Barnhill; three step-daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Emily) Smerdon, of Ellery; Mrs. Mabel Reid, of Albion; Mrs. Della Dixon, of Anderson, Ind.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step- great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, four sisters, three brothers, and one step-daughter.
