Funeral services for Mrs. Adelaide Bobbett, 87, were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edward Catholic Church in Fairfield, with Father James Dougherty officiating.
Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by Jlhnson's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bobbett, a resident of Way-Fair and formerly of Dennison, Tex., died Sunday at Way-Fair. She had been a resident of Way-Fair for four years and had been in failing health this past year.
She was born in Claiborne County, Miss., Dec 8, 1895, the daughter of Robert B. and Stella Rose (Fulton) Richardson.
She married Luther Bobbett, of Wayne County, who preceded her in death in 1968.
Mrs. Bobbett was the first woman to be licensed as a pharmacist in Texas and moved to Wayne County when she entered Way-Fair.
Survivors include one son, Robert Bobbett, of Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
