David Chapman, 7, the  son of David and Alberta (Canull) Chapman, of Sumner, died  at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1982, at the home of his  parents.  He is the grandson of Mrs. Elsie Canull, of  Fairfield, and Mrs. Helen Davis, of Sims.

David was found dead in a  bedroom by his mother. He was visiting his parents for the  Christmas holidays and attended a school for the  handicapped.  The family said that he had been in ill health  for sometime.

Funeral services are pending at the  Nale's Funeral Home.

He is survived by his parents, David and Alberta  Chapman, of Sumner; one sister, Mrs. Sharon  Schultz, of  Sumner; two brothers, Ron and Norman Chapman, both at home; three grandparents, Mrs. Helen Davis, of Sims, Mrs. Elsie Canull, of Fairfield; and Dale Chapman, of Indianapolis,  Ind.
