Harry Lasater, 64, Dies In Arizona
One of Fairfield High School's best all-around athletes, Harry Lasater,
64, a resident of Gilbert Ariz., died unexpectedly of an apparent
heart attackin Mesa Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1982. He is the son
of Mrs Ethel Lasater, of Fairfield. Mr. Lasater was pronounced
dead-on-arrival at a Gilbert Hospital at 11 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Lasater had
no history of heart trouble, the Press was told.
He owned and operated a trucking company and was a graduate of Fairfield
High School and the University of Illinois. He played both football and
basketball at the U. of I.
Funeral services will be conducted at Gilbert, Ariz. His body
will be cremated.
He is survived by his wife Marie (Hawkins) Lasater, of Gilbert,
Ariz.; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Lasater, of Fairfield; two sons,
Glenn Lasater, of the U. S. Army in Germany; and Luty Lasater,
of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Miss Jo Lasater, of the U.S. School
in Germany; and three grandchildren.
