 Mr. Branch was born June 5, 1943, in Centralia, Ill.  He served in the Air Force and moved to Portland in the 1970s and was a cook and manager for several Jordan Family Restaurants and most recently was a manager for Farm House Restaurant in Portland. He move to Troutdale in 2000. In 1999, he married Lois Thomas.

Survivors include his wife; son, James; stepsons, Tom Murray and Steven Boyd; stepdaughter, Jackie Boyd; mother, Juanita Duff; brothers, David Harrison and Richard Harrison; sister Judy Patten; and four grandchildren.
