Word has been received by the Press of the recent death of Golda M. Barrett, 72, of Sarasota, Fla.

She is the sister of Herman McDonald, of Fairfield.

Mrs. Barrett died Apr 2 in a Sarasota hospital.

Memorial services were held Apr. 6 at the Toale Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sarasota.

She was born in McLeansboro Nov. 17, 1901, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McDonald.      She is survived by her husband, Harold Barrett; three brothers, Paul McDonald, of Medical Lake, Wash.; Clarence McDonald, of McLeansboro; and Herman McDonald, of Fairfield; and two sisters, Lucille Laughmiller, of Mt. Vernon; and Ruth Schickedanz, of Westminister, Calif.
