Ruth M. Gosney was born in Indiana, Feb. 14, 1836; was married
to John W. Kindle Oct 4th, 1854. Removed to Illinois in 1855, and settled
on a farm near Rinard, which she still owned at her death. Died at 10 p.m.,
May 24, 1901, at her home in Rinard, at advanced age of 65 years, 3
months and 9 days. She had been a constant sufferer for four years from
a chronic malady which resulted in her death. Although at times her sufferings
were intense she constantly manifested a cheerful disposition and had a
pleasant greeting for every one and bore her own afflictions without a
murmer. She always manifested a deep concern in the well being and happiness
of others. Interment in the Indian Prairie cemetery at 2 o'clock Saturday.

Mrs. White, Mrs. Monroe and Miss Gosney, of Bement, Ill., attended the funeral of their sister, Mrs. Ruth M. Kindle, Saturday.
