John H. Johnson, who lived four miles southeast of town, died at five o'clock Sunday afternoon from a complication of lung and heart troubles. Though he had been in poor health for some time he was seriously sick only about a week.
Deceased left a widow, three sons and seven daughters to mourn their loss.
The funeral occurred at Lebanon church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. J. P. Turner preaching the funeral sermon. Interment in family cemetery on farm of J. B. Shaeffer.
