Little Oral Flick Passes Away

Tuesday evening of this week, Oral Glenn Flick, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur V. Flick, passed away, at 8:44 o'clock, at the home of the family, two miles north of Cisne.

The earthly pilgrimage of little Oral was short, he having entered this life at Creede, Colorado, March 11, 1902. He was therefore 1 year, 7 months and 16 days old when summoned from this world to the one beyond.

He was a very bright and interesting child---the pride of his parents, grandparents and other relatives, besides numerous friends who had a warm place in their hearts for the little fellow.

The cause of his death was membraneous croup, with which he suffered but a few hours. He was a large child for his age and had had some sickness, being afflicted a little at times with asthma. This fact caused his parents to be less uneasy about him when his illness first commenced than they might have been otherwise. He was walking and playing about the house as late as ten o'clock Tuesday morning. It was not long after this until the serious character of his illness became apparent and from this time on everything possible was done to relieve the sufferer but to no avail.

The funeral occurred at the home of the family at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Eld. O. V. Wilkison conducting the services. Interment in the Stine cemetery, west of Cisne.
