Mrs. J. A. Underwood, 83, of Livermore, Ky., mother of Mrs. Russel Payton, of Fairfield, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Owensboro, Ky., hospital.   Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Musters Funeral Home in Livermore, with burial in the cemetery there.   Among those expected to attend the services from here will be Mr. and Mrs. Joey Simms and sons, Brad and Brent, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gloeckner and sons Russell, of Fairfield, and Steve, of Newburgh, Ind.
