Father Dies

Sam Stanford, 71, of Eugene, Ore., father of Mrs. Mike Tickner, here, died there June 9 from a malignancy.

Funeral services and burial were conducted in that city on Tuesday.

His widow, Velma and one daughter, Betty, wife of Mike Tickner survive.   Mrs. Tickner flew from St. Louis Wednesday, June 9, for the services.
