L. B. Baker, formerly a resident of Baker City, Ore., committed suicide at Boise Monday. It is claimed that Baker got into trouble at Mountain-home and killed himself to escape the disgrace. It is understood that the crime with which Baker was charged at Mountainhome was the raising of a school warrant from $6 to $36, the complaint alleging forgery.
