Mrs. Izaltina Rodrigues da Silba, 83, died Sunday, June 23, 1996, at her home in Aracatuba, Brazil.

The mother of Mrs. Marcus (Ivani) Brown of Fairfield, she died suddenly of a heart attack while watching TV.

Mrs. Rodrigues had visited in Fairfield and had lived here at times with her daughter and family. She was a housewife.

Funeral rites and burial were in Aracatuba Monday.

She was born in Brazil in April of 1913, the daughter of Sebastian Rodrigues de Souza and Virginia Rodrigues de Souza. Both parents are deceased.  Also deceased is her husband, Jose steves da Silva.

Surviving are a son, Milton Este ves da Silva; a daughter, Mrs. Ivani Brown, of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; one sister and three brothers, all of Brazil.
