Mrs. Wanda L. Denney, 69, of Canton, Ohio, died at 2:57 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 1996, at Timken Mercy Medical Center in Canton.

She was a native of Fairfield, the daughter of James O. and Wreatha Kilgord Fritts, both deceased.

Mrs. Denney was a nurses aide for years at Akron General Hospital. She had resided in Canton for 33 years.

Funeral rites were conducted Monday (today) from the Heitgers Jackson Chapel, with burial in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in Canton.

She was an aunt of Elaine Owen and Judith Blaski, both of Fairfield, and a cousin of Renabelle McCormick, of Fairfield.
