Sarah Allison, 69, a resident of the Cisne Manor nursing home, died at Fairfield Memorial Hospital at 9:10 a.m., shortly after being transferred to the hospital from Cisne Manor by the North Wayne ambulance.

Coroner Bob Johnson said she formerly lived in Sims and Carmi. She has no relatives here.

Her body is being taken to the Kittinger-Fair Funeral Home in Carmi for services.
