C.A. Simmons, 74, well-known and respected Cisne resident, father of Charles A. Simmons, of this city passed away unexpectedly shortly after noon Monday May 8th, following a heart attack. He lived about fifteen minutes.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Methodist church in Cisne on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. Homer H. Herris. Burial will be in the Cisne cemetery.

The widow, five sons and two daughters survive.
