NALES FUNERAL HOME 1931-1950 |
Scource: Nales Funeral Records were copied by Mr. J. Taylor.
Mr. Taylor gave me permission to get a copy of the records to put on
this site. When I asked Betty if I could use her books to help, she
wrote, "yes" use my book".
Betty wrote in her book about the Nales Funeral Home:
My thanks goes to Mr. Jimmie Taylor, an employee of the Nales Funeral
Home, Fairfield, Illinois. He spent a lot of hours copying
the records for me, so that I could published them in a book. Jimmie
asked me to inform the purchasers of the book that he could have
made errors in copying names and dates. Any information not given
is due to information not given or unable to read. Some of the books
where the information was taken was illegible because of the water damage.
Mr. Taylor told me the Nales Funeral Home started in 1931. These records are from then to 1950, as he transcribed them for Betty, to write a book, and I am putting here. (Boy! That is a lot to say! ha!)
I would like to thank Mr. J Taylor and Betty Beeson for their hard dedicated work to preserving our history. With their help, this will help researches because of the court house fire. Plus, many thanks to you both for allowing it to be put on this site to help more people.
Smiles!
Dianna
