Our Loved Ones Life History
Gladys Stull was raised near Edgewood in her childhood. She was an obedient child both at home and at school. She never wanted to be on the go all the time. She was satisfied to be at home with her brothers and neighbors children and play little games and enjoyed home life. Then when she was old enough to have boy friends she never went alone with boys only with her brothers and their girl friends until she started going with Edd Stull. It was the days of horse and buggy. She never had but 2 boy friends except Edward Stull namely Arthur Cox and Melvin Cox.
Her and her friends Ina Robertson, Mattie Cox, Ollie Depaister, Clara Reynolds, Inez Parmer and Ester Parmer and others. She was married young. Lived first at Effingham, IL. Then moved near Edgewood then moved to Wayne Co. and lived there until death. She always was jolly and enjoyed herself regardless to her troubles. She was converted in Pentecost Church 4 years ago and still had the faith. She had many friends and neighbors all through her short life. She was so pleased whenever any of her people came to see her. She was loved very much by all her relatives and friends. She never refused to go anywhere or place where Ed wanted to go. She went without a murmer and forsaked all and went with him and was satisfied with what so ever was her lot. She made new friends where ever she lived.
