"We focus many 'administor notices' while looking for vital records.  Thought this might help find "about" when a man died.  Sometimes there was multi announcements so we decided to take the first one as that would most likely be closer to when the person died.
Wonder how long after one's death this took place?

I hope no one puts the date of the paper as  the date of the person's death.  Notice, there are a couple of people we 'forgot' the date of the notice.  Maybe someone else can fill that in.

Here is a section in the newspaper that was different and we did not know how to 'set it up'
