The court house
Hours:  8:00 - -4:30  Monday  -  Friday
It closes 4:30 sharp!  Therefore, all the offices ask that researchers quit  by 4:00.   This will give them time to 'shut down' for the day.

When going to the County Clerk and Circuit Clerk offices, you must check in with them.

There are no vital records prior the fire, 1886.  There is one 'Early Marriage' index book, of which the 'reproduced certificates' are on this site.  The county clerk does NOT have a copy of these.
