Agreeably to an act of theis Legislature of the State of Illinois approved March 3d 1845 providing for the appointing of commissioners to take the Census of the different Counties in this state every five years.  On motion it is ordered than an election be held for a Commissioner to take the Census of Wayne County for the year 1865.     When on the first ballot  A. T. GALBRAITH was duly elected as said Commissioner.
