The Elliot-Sharp line died when the girls married into other surnames - Two of the girls married Hubble's. From that sprang a line that is very large, the Hubble-Elliot line, with the SHARP root.

William & Maude Reid Hubble lived in Zif, Wayne County, Ill. 5 of their 8 children married into Hosseltons, Hubbles, and Gills. Had 7 known girls and one son.

w/o Elmer McConnell. Granddaughter of Jesse & Elnora Sharp Hosselton from Joseph & Emma Elliott Hubble Line. Emma Elliott Hubble d/o Archillies & Johanna Sharp Elliott. Very confusing how these families continued to intermarry, but I do have it all straight.

SHARP, DANIEL
This is one of those mysteries of dates. I have the mortality schedules for Daniel. Also, marriage certificate, census and other documents. From these I have pieced together that he is the probable son of Abdilla who appears on the 1860 census with that family as son and 10 years old. He married Mary Ann Hubble, had 3 daughters. He was born in 1850, died at 29-in April of 1880. This is a replacement stone. Abdilla was married in 1832, and this stone reads Daniel was born in 1830. So, until I can solve the mystery, I will not declare this as Abdilla's son, but he is buried near Abdilla and Elizabeth in the Zif Cemetery.
