Seeking descendants of Herbert ELLIOTT and Maud CUNNINGHAM.  Maud was the dau. of William Everett CUNNINGHAM and Elvira __?__.  William Everett CUNNINGHAM m. (1) to __?__, they had a son, Fred CUNNINGHAM.  He m. (2) Elvira __?__, they had five children: Ada, Clarence, Paul, Maud, and Nelly Easter, my grandmother.  William owned a sawmill in the Fairfield area, which I've been told he moved to Doniphan, MO.  He m. (3) Lula/Lulie __?__, they had two daus., Annabelle and Martha.  I believe that Maud and Herbert ELLIOTT remained in the Fairfield area when the family moved to MO.  If anyone knows anything about this family or the sawmill, please contact me.

Researching family of Levi PEER Sr. and wife, Elizabeth MARICAL.  Neither lived in Wayne Co., IL, but several of their children did.  Elizabeth left Northeast Twp., PA between 1831 and 1834 for Hamilton Co., IL.  Several of her children came with her: William Marical PEER, b. ca 1810 in Ontario, d. 1878 in Wayne Co., IL; Hiram PEER, b. 1821 in PA or Ontario, d. 1852 in Wayne Co., IL.  Other children stayed in Hamilton Co., IL: Eliza Jane PEER, d. 1902 in Hamilton Co., IL, m. HALL; Abraham PEER, d. 1879 in Hamilton Co., IL.  Their son, Levi PEER Jr. (my ancestor), returned to Ontario when his parents left PA for IL.  He d. 1895 in Guelph, Ontario.  I have copies of letters written by Levi Jr. to his mother, Elizabeth MARICAL PEER.  I would like to find Levi's siblings and descendants of same.  I will share my files with other PEER researchers.  I have a copy of the will of Jacob PEER who was the father of Levi PEER Sr.  Jacob PEER, originally from NJ, settled in Ontario in 1787 where he d. 1815.

BREWER, b. abt 1849, and his sister , Nancy BREWER, b. 1853, both b. in TN or AR.  I have no records yet.  George BREWER m. 1870 to Nancy MARSHALL, then they moved to Wayne Co., IL.  Their children: Mary Elizabeth BREWER, b. 1871, m. 1889 in Center Co., PA to Martin Lutho CONDO; William BREWER, b. 1874 in Johnsonville, Wayne Co., IL, m. 1900 in Shelby Co., IL to Iva Ethel SHANNON; Charles BREWER, b. 1878, no further info.; and Carrie Mae BREWER, b. 1885 in Moccasin Twp., Effingham Co., IL, m. (1) 1900 to Edward CHANEY, m. (2) Leonard Grover HUBBELL.

Looking for info. on g-grandfather, Monroe HAYS, m. (1) 1875 in White Co. to Lucy GLASGO.  She later died or they were divorced.  Monroe m. (2) 1878 in White Co. to Harrett Jane BROWN.  They were living in Wayne Co. on the 1880 census, with one child, Albert.  Monroe, wife, and his children born later just vanished until he came to AR and when one of his dau. m. 1906.  Where were they in all those years?  If anyone has info., please help.  Other children: Rutherford; John, b. 1881, my grandfather; Minnie Mary; and Fannie.  If anyone knows anything about Lucy, I would love to know more.

Searching for WHITACREs!  I believe that Edward and Rachel (BYE ARDREY) WHITACRE came to Wayne Co. abt 1839 with 5 children:  Harmon Fagin, William Bye, Edward J., and two unknown daus.  Rachel d. 1842 in Wayne Co.  Harmon Fagin WHITACRE, b. 1824 in OH, d. 1907 in IL, m. 1844 probably in Wayne Co., IL to Mary Ann DEMING, b. 1824 in KY/OH, d. 1908 in IL, dau. of John Treat DEMING and Deborah STARLING.  Harmon and Mary's children: Orlando Bye, Hiram Newton, Edward Lawrence, Cyrus Deming, Orintha Ann, Cinderella, Alice, and Nettie.  Harmon Fagin WHITACRE began teaching in Wayne Co., IL in 1843 and began receiving his certificate.  He taught several terms.  Any other info. about these WHITACRE and DEMING relatives would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!.

(1) Anna JOHNSON, m. (2) Addie BRANSON; Sarah Catherine FEATHER, m. Edward Jefferson MILLER; Rachel Paradine FEATHER, m. George WARREN; and George Washington FEATHER, m. Nancy Jane ANNABLE.  My gg-grandparents were George Washington FEATHER and Nancy Jane ANNABLE and their children were: Ulie (sp?); Hall (sp?); Annie Mae; Joseph Albert?, m.
