I am searching for the relationship between Ulysses Grant ALLISON and Samuel B. ALLISON.  Samuel and Susan (WEST) ALLISON lived in Leech Twp., Wayne Co., IL, when Grant came to live with them for a few years after his parents, William and Sarah ALLISON, died while the family was living in AR in 1877 or 1878.  In 1880, Grant was living with the Leroy WEST family in Edwards Co., IL.  Leroy was Susan's brother.  I would appreciate any info. about the connection between these ALLISONs.
Also searching for the parents of John Thomas LOCKE and his wife, Mary E. HARL.  Their dau., Eliza Anne LOCKE, m. Asbury Davis MUSGRAVE at the LOCKE home in Wayne Co., IL in 1878.  I'd appreciate any info. that anyone can provide.
Also would like any info. that anyone may have regarding the ancestors of Nancy Janie MURPHY, b. Jul 3, 1838, d. May 17, 1893, wife of William C. MUSGRAVE, b. Mar 11, 1830, d. Dec 17, 1903.  Nancy and William were residents of Leech Twp., Wayne Co., IL.
Also looking for info. about Mary KEENER, b. abt 1866 in Wayne Co., IL.  She was still living with her parents, Harrison and Katherine KEENER, in Wayne Co. in 1880, but I have no info. about her after that time.  Would appreciate any assistance!

II. 3. Eliza REED, b. May 18, 1849 in IL, d. Dec 27, 1940 (1850 IL, 1860 IL, 1870 IL, 1880 TX, 1900 TX census), m. Aug 2, 1868 in Wayne City, Wayne Co., IL to Zachary Taylor CLARK, b. Dec 16, 1848 in OH?, d. Dec 14, 1926 (1870 IL census, 1880 TX, 1900 TX census).  Both buried in Lancaster, Dallas Co., TX.  They came to TX in a covered wagon train in 1873.

Eliza AYERS.  All moved abt 1840 to Wayne Co., IL from Gibson CO, IN.  Most are buried in Bailey's Church Cemetery.  Looking for any info. on these lines, or on the Bailey's Church Cemetery.

Hollis J. (Shorty) WALKER, my paternal grandfather, was b. 1882 in IN, but moved to Wayne Co. where he m. abt 1907 to Dora COLE.  Earlier, he had lived in Cisne, IL.  Rumor has it he shot someone and went north.  He m. Dora COLE in St. Joseph, IL, and d. 1971 of old age.  Because of the family history, my father won't say a thing about his father.  I'm curious about newspapers in Cisne, IL or around that area between 1898-1908.  I think he "rode with a gang" for a while, and some of the members were hanged.
