A well known Wayne City couple, Mr. and Mrs. Estel Barnard, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, August 18.

 The couple's children will host the affair at Arrington Prairie (Bailey) General Baptist Church north of Wayne City between the hours of 2 and 4.

Mr. and Mrs. Barnard were married August 21, 1935, at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Jesse Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Pike were their attendants.

The Barnards have three children, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

All friends and relatives are invited to share in this celebration.
